BORN TO SHOOT THE WORLD AROUND ME

About Vito Palmisano Photography

Master Photographer Vito Palmisano, the son of Italian immigrants, began his career as a professional photographer in the early 1970’s. Over the years, he has shot advertising, corporate, commercial, and editorial assignments. His clients have included Coca-Cola, Georgia-Pacific, Marriott Hotels, American Airlines, Target, Miller Brewing, and J Lohr Vineyards, among many, many, many others.

Vito’s extensive and extraordinary collection of stock photographic images are available through Getty Images and Panoramic Stock Images and appear commercially worldwide. His signature photographic talent revolves around producing stunning photographic images from heights and places not suited for the faint of heart. Vito shoots from places where most mortals fear to tread.

Vito’s photography is powerful and emotional. Even when looking down from dizzying heights, a balance and zen create visual engagement and calm as you are drawn into his images. His western landscapes are dramatic and serene, and his photos of the Michigan coast are beautiful and whimsical. Vito is a painter of digital photos.

Vito’s passion and energy are translated into a fun and exciting presence on camera:

  1. He walks viewers through the prep and stress of capturing the decisive moment on high-risk, high-reward assignments.
  2. He showcases some of the world’s top photographers.
  3. He shows viewers some of the techniques and tricks they can use to up their photographic game, whether using high-end SLRs or the ever-present camera phones they carry with them everywhere they are going.
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
ANSEL ADAMS
“There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.”
ERNST HASS
“Black and white are the colors of photography. They symbolize the alternatives of hope and despair to which mankind is subjected.”
ROBERT FRANK
